Aged Fog

On my drive home last night, the atmosphere was rather scummy. Call it what you will, smog, crud, inversion, whatever you want it was setting in pretty good by about 6pm. It occurred to me that it would probably be pretty foggy this morning.
So while we were having a birthday party for Syndey, I asked my dad if he wanted to go out and do some shooting in the morning. I told I thought it might be foggy and so it might be fun to get some foggy shots. He agreed and so we decided to go early, like at 7am.
Of course I stayed up real late catching up on stock piled TV shows and didn’t end up getting into bed till about 2:30am. Yes it hurts and I’m tired, so I’ll probably get a nap in sooner or latter.
So we set out at 7 and proceeded to get some shots in. I thought I might have a few good ones so I was excited to get home and process them. I set about the task and you be the judge of what I got.
I guess it was my mood, but the pictures said they wanted to be aged and old looking. That’s what I went for while processing them.
It felt so good getting out, even if it was only for an hour or so - but it had been so long, months even, since I had been out shooting. I was actually get mad and frustrated with myself over it - but this should hopefully hold me over for a bit or get me back into the goove of getting out and taking pictures.

Love them! Here’s an idea or an assignment if you will…You should, if possible pick one of those barns/shacks or the tree and take pictures of it through out the year, getting all the different seasons captured and create a calendar on LULU or Zazzle or the site of your choice. There are TONS of barn and tree enthusiasts out there that would buy it! Or instead of the calendar because that could be boring to some people I guess…see now I’m second guessing myself. It would be a nice collage at least.
