Barcodes and nerd humor

So there we are playing with a bluetooth barcode scanner. Some asks what type of barcodes it’s reads, and someone says 3 of 6, someone else says 2 of 5…(do you know where this is going?)…
I pipe up and say “I bet it likes 7 of 9, I sure do” (7 of 9 was a hotty on star trek voyager) .
The barcode scanner actually reads interleaved 2 of 5 (plus some others).

interleaved 2 of 5 is a type of barcode. We were playing with a barcode scanner and we couldn’t remember which types of bardcodes it would read, so we we’re throwing out a bunch of types like 5 of 9, 2 of 5, etc
7 of 9 was a character played on Star Trek Voyager, she was very pretty…
This all being very nerdy, and funny to us (the group of nerds here)

LOL I totally got it! 7 of 9 was HOT. Sounds like a conversation Jory and I often have. I guess that makes us nerds.
