With Labor day past, and nights getting cooler – summer is winding down. I’m not sure how I feel about this, while I love the freedom summer offers when it come to photography, I also love fall colors and deadness of winter.
I guess maybe I just enjoy all seasons and what they offer with photography.
This past weekend, I was able to pull off a couple of shots in my in-laws garden. It was the dreaded HIGH-NOON DIRECT SUNLIGHT time, but I thought what the hey, I like pushing the boundaries if needed.
There are some tricks you can employ when shooting during the brightest part of the day, in direct sunlight. I chose to meet it head on and see what I could get away with. While these aren’t much more than snapshots – I wanted fantastic looking snapshots. But the sun, it’s burns us, so I wasn’t sure what I could get away with.
